Meet Katie Svehla

Katie Svehla is a designer who specializes in millinery work and Her strong creative voice shows through in her whimsical designs and lively social influence. Her out of the box thinking and use of unconventional materials and form is the main focus of her design work. She is driven from nature and the things she loves most in her everyday life.

"I started making hats back in 2018 and quickly realized that seeing my hats on other people's heads brought me joy and put a smile on the persons face. I made excuses to create hats in all of my classes and continued studying millinery techniques. In 2020 I had hats piling up in every corner of my apartment. Not wanting to stop making but in desperate need of more space- Svehla Millinery was founded. Now, along with creating my own visions, I get to collaborate with others to make their visions a reality."
